Thanks for replying so quickly! I have just recently started doing family history. My daughter lives outside Washington DC and she loves researching it. I do have additional information. My mother died unexpectedly Sept. 19, 2000. She was 78. My sister Lana died May 29, 1997. She died from ovarian cancer. I am excited to copy the information you have on the internet. Thank you so much for replying.

We love Albuquerque. Some weekends we will just drive over there and eat at Gardunos. That is our favorite restaurant. Also, our daughter married in Albuquerque 3 years ago. I have 3 children. Mikala Ann who is 28, Randy who is 26 and Julia who is 22. Mikala lives in Kensington, MD, her husband is a trade analyst for the govt. He will soon be going to graduate school at Georgetown, Univ. He will be studying international business. Randy is going to school in Rexburg, Idaho, and Julia is going to school at Amarillo College majoring in nursing. I have 2 grandsons, 6 and 18 months.

I remember the reunions at Cisco! I used to have so much fun, the last one that my parents went to they brought home a dog! They named him Cisco and he lived to be a very old dog. After Cisco died we had to help my mom move to another house next door to my sister so she would feel secure because she lost her "watch dog." I am still in close contact with my 2 aunts----Doris and Jackie. Jackie lives in Lubbock and Doris lives in Lovington, NM.

What was your grandmothers name? I am going to get on the sites and read more, maybe I can figure it out!

[NI0428] Ms. Short was the retired office manager for the Zeleskey, Cornelius, Hallmark, Roper and Hicks Law Office, where she had been employed for 30 years. She was a member of DAR, Baptist Church, Veteran of US Army Air Corp, Pilot Club, Memorial Hospital Home Health Board, & Crime Stoppers Executive Board member.

[NI0430] lives in Lufkin, Texas

[NI0459] This is the author of the book "A Short Story" it sold for five dollars in 1969 through 1974. She spent thousands compiling this extensive genealogy with charts, biographies and pedigrees.

[NI0472] Bennie Smith, was killed in a car accident in Houston, Texas.

[NI0613] James Wesley Taylor was born in Morgan County, Alabama July 1852. He married (1) Mary A. Brown, Nov.1873, Grooms permission by E. P. Taylor, Morgan County, Alabama. (M2) Amanda Emeline McFarley, 24 Dec 1875 by J. M. McCutcheon, JP. Groom's permission by Peter Taylor, father, Morgan Co. Ala. (M3) Mary T. ?. Chickasaw Nation census, 1900, Indian Territory, Ok. James Taylor (Head) Mary T. (Wife). Number of years married 3. Apparently James married his third wife around 1897. No other details are available regarding his marriage to Mary. James came with the family from Alabama to Cleburne, Johnson Co. TX. in 1880. According to the above census, he subsequently settled with the family near Colbert, Bryan Co. Ok. His children were:
