FLOY RUSHING of Clarksburg, 92, Died Dec. 5, 2001.
Mrs. Rushing was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Cecil
Rushing in 1994; her parents, John S. and Emma Laws, all of Clarksburg; one
brother, Barton Laws of Nashville; three sisters, Mamie Dill of Huntingdon,
Elaine Bush of Lexington, and Edith Pendergrass of Atwood; and one
granddaughter, Janet Ross of Nashville.
She is survived by one brother, Dwayne W. Laws of Bowling Green,
KY; one daughter, Eloise and husband Carl Ross; three sons, George and wife
Charleen Rushing of Hendersonville, Laws and wife Marilyn Rushing of
Finger, and Frank and wife Debbie Rushing of Dyer; grandchildren, Mrs.
Betsy Ketsdever, Nathan Ketsdever, Brian Ross, Daphne Kirby, all of
Nashville, Marty Rushing of Hendersonville, Mrs. Michelle Avery of Talors,
SC, Mrs. Sony Taylor of Bethel Springs, and Dwayne and Laws Rushing, Jr, of
Murfreesboro; one gr-grandson, William Zane Taylor of Bethel Springs; and
one gr-granddaughter, Rachel Faith of Talors, SC.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rushing were held on Fri., Dec. 7 at 1
p.m. at Dilday Funeral Home in Huntingdon. Pallbearers were Brian Ross,
Nathan Ketsdever, Marty Rushing, Laws Rushing, Jr., Dwayne Rushing, Denton
Bush, Wilfred Pendergrass, and Johnny Laws.

Mary Eugenia Rushing: Did not marry, she was a 40 year tenured school teacher at Lexington High School, when she retired in 1982.

James Melton Rushing born in TN, son of Harmon Jackson Rushing and Meta
Long. He was born on 5/6/42 in Decatur Co., TN. You have his wife
correct. He has three children, all born in Blount Co., TN.

PARSONS - Sara Jo Rushing Fowler, 58, chemist, died
Monday in Dallas. Services will be at 10 A.M. today at
Parsons Mortuary with burial in Bear Creek Cemetery. She
leaves a daughter, Allison Fowler of Fresno, Texas; a son,
Richard Fowler of Austin, Texas; her mother, Meta Rushing
of Parsons; a brother, Jim Rushing of Maryville, and two
grandchildren.
