A cousin has verified through the census of 1850 that he was in Anderson County, TX. Children of William Riley and Rebecca: Martha, Elizabeth, William, Susan, Samantha, Mary, Francis. William Riley and Martha: James, Walter (my grandfather). I am continuing to seek more info. about William.

Grandfather married Eppie McMillin b.1889 TX. For unknown reasons, Thomas Walter Rushin did not include a "g" at the end of his name and his name appears this way in records.
