[NI7951] Notes for HOMER ALONZO RUSHING: ...was a bachelor. Grace McIlwain said he was short and a little dumpy. Very laid back, tho.

[NI7952] Notes for WILLIAM FRANKLIN RUSHING:
! Margie and Wilson Cox said that "Rat" died after Homer did and that their
niece, Mrs. Metts, from Houston, Mississippi, took care of their estate when
they died. She is the one that Papaw bought the farm from when they died. Rat
was a bachelor. Grace McIlwain said he was tall and thin and very laid back!
Not much get up and go, but always had their welcome mat out for visitors. Once
the McIlwain reunion was held at the church across from the Rushing farm.

Was a teacher and they lived near Okolona. Buried in Houston, MS Cemetery
???She married JOHN LEWIS TINDALL, daughter of JAMES TINDALL and FEMALE. She was born August 28, 1876 in Oktibbeha, Mississippi, USA, and died February 27, 1957 in Houston, Chickasaw, Mississippi.??? - Clair L. Herrick
